Welcome to Jamieson Design
We are a small family business based in Hamilton, New Zealand. We produce handmade bespoke furniture and joinery, made specifically to order, designed by either ourselves or our client. We specialise in recycled native and sustainable timbers. Jamieson Design produce both free standing and fitted furniture, traditional or contemporary designs. All done with strict attention to detail.
We offer on-site visits and consultations to determine the best design solutions for your home or office space. As members of the Sustainable Business Network we promote non toxic oils and eco friendly finishes. We are constantly working towards lowering our carbon footprint and working closely with other like minded businesses.
At Jamieson Design we are regularly working on a variety of interesting projects, and enjoy the challenge of one-off original pieces. For us, no job is too hard or too small, we dedicate ourselves to keeping our clients happy and satisfied.
Furniture
Jamieson Design will provide tailor made furniture to the client's requirements. Nothing too big or too small!! All done in the wood of your choice, and the finish of your choice.
Joinery
At Jamieson Design we can make any sort of doors or windows required by the client, interior or exterior, hung in frames of any timber. Double glazing a speciality, primed or raw.
Mouldings and Machining
Jamieson Design can provide all your moulding requirements in the timber of your choice. We can match the mouldings style in your existing house, as well as architrave, skirting, scotia, flooring etc.
Sustainability
The Sustainable Business Network is a New Zealand based organisation promoting the use of resources efficiently so that it has a positive impact on the bottom line and reducing environmental impact and associated costs. At Jamieson Design we hold these values and maintain high standards in recycling and reducing waste. We encourage the use of recycled and second-hand timbers. We do not use materials from rain forests or unsustainable forests. At Jamieson Design we always promote eco friendly oils and finishes to be used on our products.
